It is a project developed in undergraduate group, at the UTSFM in the winter of 2009. This work is commissioned the organization of fibers to catch mist water under the botanical garden program for the desert in Alto Patache, Atacama, Chile. Techniques of textile fabrics abstract characteristics of the material organization, synthesizing formal and me- chanical relations of the organized fibers. As inputs for the preparation of a model. The steel cable as a pick-up fiber was vertically organi- zed by a sub-system of strips, which managed to create co-structuring bodies, leading to the falling of the fibers towards common sumps, draining over concentrated points. This constructive exploration was installed in the desert, resulting in the germination of long-dormant seeds.
